Enjoy the Night View of Kitakyushu! What is the Appeal of a Factory Night View Cruise?

The factory night view cruise in Kitakyushu City is a special experience that allows you to enjoy the “factory night view” along the coast, the “night view of the Kanmon Straits,” and the “lights of the city” from the ship. Kitakyushu City, one of the leading industrial areas in the country, is a spectacle of dazzling cityscapes and dynamic factory lights that shine brilliantly at night. In March 2022, it was selected as the number one “New Top Three Night View Cities in Japan.”

There are two types of factory night view cruises: the “Factory Night View Course” departing from Kokura Port and the “Kanmon Night View + Factory Night View Course” departing from Mojiko Port. Both courses take about 90 to 110 minutes and operate only on Saturdays and Sundays. On board, a factory night view navigator will introduce the charm of the factory night view and Kitakyushu City. You are also welcome to bring your own drinks and light meals.

Operating Dates and Times

• Kokura Port Departure: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays and Sundays
• Mojiko Port Departure: 4th Saturdays and Sundays
  • April to September: Departing around 7:00 PM
  • October to March: Departing around 6:30 PM
• Duration: Approximately 110 minutes for Kokura Port departures and 90 minutes for Mojiko Port departures

• Advance reservations are required by the scheduled departure date if you wish to board. However, if there are still seats available (not marked with an “x” on the operating calendar), we will accept reservations until the day of departure. In this case, same-day reservations will only be accepted by phone.
• There is no shop on board, but you are welcome to bring your own (drinks and light meals). However, please take your trash with you.
• Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the departure time.
• Please note that the cruise may be canceled due to bad weather (strong winds, dense fog, etc.).
