Enjoy a special evening as you experience a different atmosphere from the daytime, with the “Illuminated Boat” service available during the cool of the evening. You will ride a fully reserved private boat for about 70 minutes and leisurely tour the approximately 4 km moat that is lit up.

Reservations must be made through the Yanagawa City Tourism Association website by 4:00 PM three days before your desired date, or by visiting the tourist information center directly.
Payment can be made by bank transfer, and must be completed two days before the boarding date. Please note that Yanagawa residents must pay at the tourist information center, so be sure to bring proof of identity (health insurance card, driver’s license, My Number card, etc.).
You are allowed to bring your own food and drinks, but please note that open flames are strictly prohibited. Also, there are two courses for the “Illuminated Boat”: the downstream and the upstream. Details will vary depending on your reserved boarding date, so please inquire for further information.

*Additional Fees: 1,800 yen for adults, 900 yen for children (elementary school age), free for preschool children (one child per adult) *Yanagawa residents can receive an additional 1,000 yen discount and board for 6,000 yen. *Subsidies from the Yanagawa Tourism V-Shaped Recovery Campaign are being used.
