At Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, a national park, roses bloom in full glory in May.
With 220 varieties and 1,800 rose bushes in bloom, the park is filled with fragrance. You can appreciate the many different types of roses, making you feel like you’re looking at a living encyclopedia. During this period, the “Uminonakamichi Flower Picnic” is also held, and park buses operate on weekends and holidays (for a fee). The park features a variety of flowers throughout the year, allowing you to enjoy different scenery with each visit.
Why not take a stroll through the park along with the early summer roses?
