Kagoshima’s Symbol, Shiroyama, is Enveloped in Light!
The “SHIROYAMA Winter Illumination,” which attracts many people every year, will be held again from Friday, November 15, 2024. This year, titled “SHIROYAMA Winter Illumination 2024-2025 Bamboo Lantern Terrace,” it will create a fantastical space using bamboo from Kagoshima Prefecture. The world of light created by approximately 36,000 LED bulbs is truly spectacular.

Bamboo Lantern Terrace Main Plaza
In the fountain plaza, which will be the main spot, a fountain that changes into seven colors and bamboo lantern trees create a fantastical space. It is also recommended as a photo spot with excellent photo opportunities.
LOVEgenic Plaza
You can enjoy romantic illuminations such as Happiness Clover and the LOVEgenic site. It is a perfect spot to visit as a couple.
Gold Garden
When you climb the stairs of light, the Gold Garden spreads out before you. The sparkling crystal balls are like stardust.
Star Drops (Hoshi no Shizuku)
