Shiranoe Botanical Park in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, is a park where the original scenery of Japan spreads. Spreading over a small hill overlooking the Suo Sea, you can enjoy seasonal plants, wild birds, and scenery in the park, which has ups and downs that make use of the terrain.

From late November to early December, when the autumn leaves are usually at their best, about 800 iroha maple trees and other trees turn yellow and red like brocade pictures.

The highlights are the autumn leaves that can be enjoyed in various areas of the park, such as the entrance plaza, the sunlight-dappled path, and the deciduous forest. In particular, the autumn leaves in the park viewed from the entrance plaza are truly as beautiful as brocade pictures.

In addition, the Autumn Leaves Festival will be held on November 25th (Sat) and 26th (Sun), 2023. Park markets selling local specialties, flower seedlings, and miscellaneous goods, as well as tea ceremonies and concerts are planned.

Why not take this opportunity to visit the autumn leaves at Shiranoe Botanical Park and admire the brocade pictures that color the original scenery of Japan?
