The Former Denemon Ito Residence, where Denemon Ito and Byakuren Yanagihara spent time, is the mansion of a man known as the “Coal Mining King of Chikuhou.” It’s a historical building that incorporates various artistic techniques, such as mantelpieces and stained glass, and was continuously remodeled for his wife, Byakuren.

This mansion is characterized by its Art Nouveau design, and the reception room features British-made diamond-shaped stained glass. Also, the long corridor is lined with one-tatami mats.

This building is loved by many as a historical building of Japan.
