The “Kurume Azalea Festival” is one of Japan’s three major gardening festivals, and it is held every year at the “Kurume Ryokka Center” on the south side of the Michi-no-Eki (Roadside Station) Kurume from early to the end of April.

At this event, 100,000 varieties and 1 million trees, saplings, and flowers are available, and many customers from far away, as well as repeat visitors, visit.

There are also popular bakery shops, cafes famous for authentic curry, and sweet potato specialty shops in the facility, so you can enjoy the food as well.

Also, the site is larger than the Tokyo Dome and is barrier-free, making it ideal for strolling. There are many benches installed, so you can relax all day long.

The Kurume City World Azalea Center is also nearby and is open to the public during this time. We recommend visiting during this time to look for azaleas in full bloom and your favorite “greenery.”

By all means, please spend a wonderful time with your family and friends.
