The Spring Ujiko Grand Festival is a spring grand festival that is held by parishioners on the Sunday closest to April 17, the date of the demise (death anniversary) of Empress Jingu, the enshrined deity of Kashii-gu Shrine.
At the Shinko Ceremony, which is held every other year, three portable shrines and many dressed-up people participate. It is an important event that deepens community ties along with the history of Kashii-gu Shrine.
