The Thoughts of the Townspeople Shine: Winter in Karita Town
The “Karita Town Illumination” will be held again this year in Karita Town, Fukuoka Prefecture. To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the merger of Karita Town, the illuminations, filled with the thoughts of the townspeople, will vividly color the winter night sky with the theme of “‘Our Future’ ~70 Shining Years, Connecting to a Rainbow to the Future~”.

- 70th Anniversary of Municipal Administration Commemorative Illumination: A special illumination that reflects on the 70-year history of Karita Town.
- Original Illuminations: You can enjoy unique original illuminations created by Karita Technical High School, local elementary and junior high schools, and companies.
- All-Night Lighting: All-night lighting will be implemented on Tuesday, December 24th and Tuesday, December 31st. You can spend Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve in a fantastical world of light.
