200,000 Light Illuminations and Heartwarming Events
In Imari City, Saga Prefecture, the winter tradition “The 22nd Kagayake! Imari Festa” will be held. The area around JR Imari Station will be decorated with approximately 200,000 illuminations, transforming it into a dazzling space of light.
Highlights
Sparkling Street Trees
The zelkova trees in front of the station will shine beautifully with illuminations.
Symbolic Camphor Tree
The camphor tree, the symbol tree of the rotary, will also be decorated with illuminations, exuding a strong presence.
Plastic Bottle Lanterns
More than 1,000 plastic bottle lanterns created by elementary school students will light up with warm light.
Illumination Objects Created by High School Students
Uniquely designed illumination objects created by high school students will also be exhibited.
Lighting Ceremony & Events
On Saturday, November 30th, a lighting ceremony and various events will be held.
- 2:00 PM – Food and drink booths open, performances by dance studios, etc.
- 5:15 PM – Lighting ceremony
- 6:10 PM – Illumination lighting
