At Idawara Shrine in Futajo Fukui, Itoshima City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Kagura (Shinto music and dance) is dedicated by Kagura performers to pray for a bountiful harvest and family safety. This festival showcases traditional dances that have been passed down for over 200 years and is beloved by local people. The Kagura performers express their gratitude to the gods while wearing beautiful costumes and playing drums and flutes. This festival is loved by many people as a valuable cultural heritage of Fukuoka Prefecture.
