The “One Person, One Flower Spring Festival,” held in Fukuoka City, is a festival where you can enjoy the colorful flowers that adorn the city.
The pedestrian paths and surrounding spots connecting Hakata, Tenjin, and Maizuru Park are decorated with 50,000 tulips planted throughout the city, as well as many other flowers planted by many people.
At the Fureai Plaza on the west side of the City Hall, there are flowerbed creations and picnic spaces by citizens, companies, and students. Also, at Hakata Station Plaza, Seiryu Park, Hakata Ward Office, Haruyoshi Bridge, Kego Park, Chuo Ward Office, and Maizuru Park, tulips planted by nearby elementary schools are also coloring the city.
Many people visit this Spring Festival, making it a festival where you can feel the arrival of spring.
