A fantastical illumination event will be held at the “Kuma Machizukuri Center Reimeikan” in the Kuma district of Hita City.
Reimeikan, a nationally registered tangible cultural property, is a retro Western-style building built in 1916.
At night, the entire building is decorated with colorful illuminations, creating a fantastical atmosphere different from the daytime.
It is located about a 5-minute walk from Hita Onsen Town, so it is also recommended to stop by while strolling around the onsen town.
Kuma/Reimeikan Illumination Night
On Sunday, December 15th, the “Kuma/Reimeikan Illumination Night” will be held.
- Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Contents: Sales of hot wine and garlic rice, music performances, etc.
About Reimeikan
Reimeikan is a two-story wooden Western-style building built in 1916 as the main building of the Hita County Agricultural and Industrial School.
It is currently used as a place for exchange among local residents as the “Kuma Machizukuri Center Reimeikan.”
