The Hakozakigu Hydrangea Festival (Sando Hana Meguri) is held in the shrine garden created in the western part of the precincts in 1991 to commemorate the Heisei enthronement. In this shrine garden, approximately 3,500 hydrangeas of about 100 different varieties bloom in various colors, using the main shrine building as a borrowed landscape.

Please enjoy the gorgeous hydrangeas at the Hakozakigu Hydrangea Festival (Sando Hana Meguri).
