Nomi-san Kannonji Temple, affectionately known as “Nomi-yama-san,” is the sixteenth temple of the Sasaguri 88 Temple Pilgrimage. It is a special head temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect, and the main enshrined deity is Senju Kannon Bosatsu (Thousand-Armed Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva).
