Fukuoka’s Waterfront Shines Romantically
The “Bayside Illumination ~Harbor of Light~” will be held again this year at Bayside Place Hakata in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City. Approximately 300,000 LED lights will fantastically illuminate the harbor area.
Illuminations Unique to the Seaside
The palm trees lining Bayside Street will be lit up, and the light reflected on the sea surface will create a fantastical atmosphere.
Viewing the illuminations from the opposite shore is also recommended.
Collaboration of Oyster Hut and Illumination
During the illumination period, the Bayside winter tradition “Oyster Hut” will also be held at the same time! You can enjoy a romantic night view while tasting fresh oysters.
