An event called “Okawa Haze Opening of the River Tourism” will be held.
During this event, which features the “haze” fish that inhabits the Ariake Sea, you can enjoy course meals offered at various restaurants in the city, or participate in fishing on a sightseeing boat and enjoy the experience of eating the freshly caught fish. This event is held to pray for a good catch, the safety of the season, and to promote tourism.
Please note that advance booking is required for sightseeing boat rides.

Access: From Hainuzuka Station on the Kagoshima Main Line, take the Nishitetsu bus bound for “Onoshima Nokyo Mae” for about 30 minutes, transfer at “Nakahara Takagi Byoin Mae” to the Nishitetsu bus bound for “Saga Station Bus Center”, get off at “Okawa Bashi” and walk for 10 minutes.
