The “Seishoko Festival” is a revival of the divine procession and portable shrine festival that had been discontinued for many years, with the slogan of giving “childhood memories” to children, “emotional inspiration” to young people, and “nostalgia” to adults.
It has developed into a festival for the wider prefectural citizens and contributes to the promotion of tourism. Usually, it is held annually on the 4th Sunday of July, but from this year, it will be held on the “4th Sunday of April.”
This is to return to the original time of the festival that was held before the war. However, please note that the “Seishoko Night Market” will be canceled due to circumstances related to construction work within the grounds during the construction period (scheduled until 2024).
