Adachi Park, located in Kitakyushu City, is a nature-rich park near the city center that has been selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Urban Parks.

It is especially famous as a cherry blossom viewing spot, and it is bustling with many cherry blossom viewers during the cherry blossom season.

It is also the starting point of the Kiku Nature Trail, which continues from Mount Adachi to Mount Tonokami and Mount Kazashi, making it a perfect spot for mountain walking. If you want to take a leisurely stroll, we recommend the “Komorebi no Komichi” (Sunlight Filtering Through Trees Path) forest bathing promenade.

There is also the “Yasunragi no Hiroba” (Relaxation Plaza), where you can rest while admiring the azaleas in spring, and the “Konchu Kansatsu no Mori” (Insect Observation Forest), where you can observe beetles and other insects.

Also, from the “Tenbo Hiroba” (Observation Plaza), a wonderful view of the city of Kokura can be seen. Adachi Park is the perfect spot for those who want to refresh themselves in nature or for families.
