At the “Cherry Blossom Festival” held at Shiranoe Botanical Park, cherry blossoms and rhododendrons bloom beautifully. During the period, you can enjoy various events such as a cherry blossom tour stamp rally in the park, the sale of trees and flower seedlings, and food sales on weekends.
Shiranoe Botanical Park is also famous for being a place where about 60 varieties of cherry blossoms are collected, including the 450-year-old “Shiranoe no Satozakura,” a prefecturally designated natural monument, as well as Kawazu cherry blossoms and Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms.
