Christmas Advent Begins in Nakasu
The Nakasu area, connecting Hakata and Tenjin in the heart of Fukuoka City, will shine with illuminations again this year! “Nakasu Hikari no Advent” is a festival of light that heralds the beginning of Christmas Advent.
Illuminations that Decorate the Town of Nakasu
Nakasu Chuo-dori (Nakasu Central Street)
Glittering illuminations will brightly decorate the street.
Nakagawa-dori (Nakagawa Street)
The promenade along the Nakagawa River will also be lit up, creating a romantic atmosphere.
Meiji-dori (Meiji Street)
The roadside trees along Meiji Street will also be decorated with illuminations, continuing the path of light.
Fukuhaku Deai Bridge
The Fukuhaku Deai Bridge, connecting Hakata and Tenjin, will also be illuminated.

Light-up of Seiryu Park
The light-up extends to the riverside where food stalls line up in Seiryu Park, creating a fantastical view. The night view from the bridge is especially beautiful.
