Into a Fantastic World Woven by 1.03 Million Lights
The “Saga Light Fantasy” will be held again this year in Saga City, Saga Prefecture. This year, marking its 36th event, 1.03 million illuminations will beautifully decorate the entire city, centering on Saga City Central Street (Symbol Road).
Strolling Through the City of Light
- Illumination of Symbol Road: The 1.6km long Symbol Road will be adorned with colorful illuminations.
- Spot Illuminations: Spot illuminations installed in various locations such as Tojin-machi Machikado Hiroba (Tojin-machi Town Square) and S-Platz will create a glamorous atmosphere in the city.
- Symbol Tree: The symbol tree set up in Tojin-machi Machikado Hiroba will be full of Christmas spirit!
- Illuminations Created by Citizens: Illuminations created by citizens will also be exhibited, allowing everyone in the city to enjoy the illuminations.
Event Information
- Saga International Balloon Fiesta Eve Event: On Wednesday, October 30th, ceremonies, parades, parties, etc., will be held at the Yahata Koji intersection.
- Symbol Tree Lighting Ceremony: From 6:30 PM on Wednesday, December 11th, the symbol tree lighting ceremony will be held at Tojin-machi Machikado Hiroba.
- Saga Light Fantasy Photo Contest: Take pictures of your favorite illuminations and enter the photo contest.
