Shimizu Temple Honbo Garden in Miyama City, Fukuoka Prefecture, is a nationally designated scenic garden that is said to have been created by Sesshu during the Muromachi period. The garden, where natural and artificial beauty blend together, is rich in charm in each of the four seasons.
During the autumn leaves season, Japanese maple trees color around the Shinji Pond, illuminating the entire garden. In particular, the autumn leaves reflected on the surface of the Shinji Pond are breathtakingly beautiful.
In addition, autumn leaves viewing will be held from November 19th (Sun) to December 3rd (Sun), 2023. Shuttle buses are also scheduled to operate during the period, so why not take this opportunity to visit?
