The winter tradition “Canal Illumination” will be held at the commercial complex “Canal City Hakata” in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City.
The Entire Building Transforms into an Art of Light
- Wall of Light: The entire wall along the canal will shine brightly, creating a fantastical space.
- River of Light: The approximately 180-meter-long canal flowing north and south will be filled with light.
- Aqua Tree: A shining tree-shaped fountain will gorgeously decorate the Sun Plaza Stage.
A Collaboration of Illumination and Fountain Show
The fountain show held in the center of the canal will feature a special performance linked with the illumination after sunset. The beautiful collaboration of light and water is a must-see.
